Write a souvenir card
Photograph an object and record where you obtained it, who was with you and what you remember about the day. Distinguish a maker's label from a story you heard. Add a date even if it is only approximate.
Choose one detail that photographs do not capture, such as a conversation or the reason you chose it. Keep the card with a numbered image file. Avoid attaching labels directly to a delicate surface.
